“Always tell a joke with a strait face.” That is Henrik Sundgren’s motto whenever it comes time to create moving pictures. After earning an MBA in Film Directing at the American Film Institute, Henrik began to build a significant amount of experience. His father, a famed film critic, exposed Henrik and his siblings to Chaplin, Tarkovskij, Dracula, Truffaut and Japanese Godzilla movies.

Beginning his career as a journalist, Henrik discovered that his interests had less to do with facts and more to do with fiction. Ever since this revelation, Henrik has gone on to work with clients such as Volvo, Coca Cola, Southern Comfort, Tele 2 and Microsoft. He has also made a name for himself as a creator of short films with distinct advertising purposes, such as the Audi campaign staring Justin Timberlake.

Weather he is taking acting lessons or enjoying a foray deep into 3D – modeling, Henrik draws from his naturally curious journalistic side to never stand still.

Writer-director Zoe Cassavetes developed her screen style through first-hand observation from an early age, as the youngest daughter of actress Gena Rowlands and actor-director John Cassavetes. She pursued a brief acting career in early ’90s features such as Ted & Venus and The Thing Called Love, before joining her brother Nick and sister Xan in the other family business of directing. Her first feature length film, Broken English, starring Parker Posey, did the festival circuit and solidified her status as an indie darling.

Zoe and fellow film scion Sofia Coppola created and hosted Hi-Octane, a Comedy Central sketch-variety TV show. She also guest-hosted MTV’s House of Style, beginning a long affiliation with fashion designers and clients.

In 2012, Zoe directed The Other Side of the Game for Bombay Sapphire’s Imagination Series, in partnership with the Tribeca Film Festival, from a script by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher (Precious). That same year, her narrative short, The Powder Room, served as one of the first four installments of Miu Miu’s Women’s Tales campaign, and premiered at the Venice Film Festival.

Zoe recently completed her second feature, Day Out of Days, starring Alexia Landeau and Melanie Griffith, to be released in 2015.
